Why do I not care about the fallen leaves returning to their roots? Because I am a damn animal, I am neither grass nor a tree. I am still waiting for those things, those sheep and bulls, those livestock to bite my leaves and chew my tender sprouts. I will definitely go to places with fewer livestock; it can't always be about fallen leaves returning to their roots. Those sheep and horses on the African savanna, those animals all know where the water and grass are abundant, and they will naturally migrate there.
