Musk: Starship's full reusability is more challenging than lunar landing, expected to be achieved next year.

On August 23, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk stated that creating a fully reusable orbital rocket is one of humanity's most challenging engineering problems to date, even more difficult than landing on the moon, which is also the reason it has not yet been conquered. I am cautiously optimistic about the Starship achieving full reusability next year. Another key technology is orbital refueling, which is comparatively much simpler and, if all goes well, may also be achieved next year. At that time, human consciousness and life will be able to extend to other planets and even XLM.

We’ve already managed to land on the moon, so why not just build a rocket... it’s all the old generation holding back the new.
