Some people do not have obsessions; they focus on the truth of the issue rather than being driven by desire. The stronger the desire, the poorer the person will be. Even if they temporarily have money, they will eventually go bankrupt. Many people fantasize about their investments multiplying tenfold, and thus blindly increase their stakes, even using leverage, resulting in devastating losses because reality does not develop according to desire. The true realm of wealth is: even if one earns fifty million or five billion, one must remain clear-headed about the essence of things, discarding the self and greed. The weaker the self, the fewer obstacles there are to seeing the truth. Buffett is clearly the richest person in the world, yet he has lived in the same house for decades, drives an old car, and works in a small town, not pursuing luxury because he has no desire. His happiness comes from understanding the laws of money, not from spending it. Those with desires are easily deceived and manipulated by capital and institutions; those who understand the essence of money can control it, treating making money as a game rather than a means to satisfy vanity. Seeing money as a tool is the highest realm of wealth, achieving 'desirelessness'.
